The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) in Kuwait has launched an online civil ID app that helps nationals and residents carry their Civil ID on their smart phone.
To obtain the mobile civil ID, the user should first download the app “Kuwait mobile ID” for iPhones or Android devices, and then enroll in the program. The app is available in Arabic and English versions.
To download the app, you should meet the below criteria:
- Should be a citizen or resident of Kuwait with valid visa.
- Should possess a previously issued smart civil ID with validity of at least one month.
Procedure:
- Download the Kuwait mobile ID app.
- Register – You will require your civil ID number, serial number and passport number.
- Take a selfie
- Complete the process.
Once accepted, your civil ID will now be found on your mobile.
