The Indian Embassy in Kuwait Monday evening celebrated the ‘Republic Day’ to mark the 75 years since introducing the Indian constitution.

In his address to the distinguished guests from Kuwait, colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps and members of the media fraternity, Ambassador HE Dr Adarsh Swaika, expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister, Dr. Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, for their unwavering support in fostering the robust India-Kuwait partnership.

The chief guest of the evening was Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al- Ahmad Al-Sabah.

“Our bilateral ties with Kuwait are historical and robust, with trade and people-to-people connections forming the foundation. We value the leadership’s commitment to this relationship, witnessing diversification in our trade and growing investment cooperation. The strong Indian community in Kuwait, around one million strong, acts as a vital bridge between our nations, contributing significantly to our special partnership,” he added.

The Ambassador also expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders involved in elevating India-Kuwait relations.
