A delegation from the Public Authority for Manpower recently examined the successful labor market development initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. \

Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanin, the Deputy Minister of Human Resources, extended a warm welcome to the Kuwaiti delegation during the meeting, emphasizing the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two nations. The deputy minister expressed the ministry’s readiness for cooperation and support to achieve common goals.

The Kuwaiti delegation, led by Najat Al-Yousef, the Authority’s Deputy Director for the National Manpower Affairs Sector, and Eng. Rabab Al-Osaimi, Deputy Director for the Planning and Administrative Development Sector, convened at the Saudi Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting, attended by various leaders and officials from the Saudi Ministry, aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the two countries.

The authority released a statement highlighting its commitment to improving services and procedures to achieve a fully electronic system. The objective is to enhance the quality of services and overall user experience. The delegation engaged in discussions and reviews related to the latest developments in the labor market, emphasizing its impact on the labor system’s performance and the quality of outputs for the private sector.

The meeting proceeded with an in-depth review of the Ministry’s successful experience in labor market development in the Kingdom. The presentation covered a range of ambitious programs and initiatives that have contributed significantly to continuous development. Specific topics included the procedures for nationalization, the professional accreditation program, the professional verification service, the initiative to improve contractual contracts, and the initiative to conclude labor relationships.

This meeting is considered a crucial step in strengthening international relations between sister countries, by facilitating the exchange of expertise and experiences in fields relevant to labor market development. The collaborative efforts aim to enhance mutual understanding and contribute to the ongoing improvement of labor systems in both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
