Kuwait Ministry signs crucial pilgrimage agreements

Kuwaiti Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs marked a significant milestone today by signing five crucial agreements during its participation in the third edition of the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah. These agreements aim to efficiently manage the affairs of Kuwaiti pilgrims during the upcoming “Hajj 1445 AH” season, enhancing the overall pilgrimage experience.

Dr. Badr Al-Mutairi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry, provided details about the agreements, highlighting their importance in streamlining various aspects of the pilgrimage.

He emphasized that the early signing of these agreements reflects the ministry’s commitment to the quality of services provided to Kuwaiti pilgrims.

The first agreement, signed with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, focuses on organizing the affairs of Kuwaiti pilgrims. It outlines details such as the number of pilgrims, allocated lands, and other essential requirements to ensure a smooth and seamless performance of Hajj rituals.

The second agreement, inked with Tawafi Pilgrims Company from Arab Countries, pertains to equipping camps in the holy sites of Arafat, Mina, and Muzdalifah. The company will provide nutrition, subsistence services, and other necessary amenities during the pilgrims’ stay in these sacred locations.

The third agreement, with the United Agents Company in Jeddah, aims to facilitate the reception of pilgrims at arrival airports. The company will expedite travel procedures, ensuring pilgrims receive relevant information well in advance of their arrival.

The fourth agreement involves the General Automobile Syndicate Company, which will provide buses for transporting pilgrims during the performance of rituals. Lastly, the fifth agreement with Al-Zamamah Company ensures a constant supply of Zamzam water in the pilgrims’ residences throughout their stay in Makkah.

The agreements follow the previous stages of sorting and nominating pilgrims, along with the fifth Hajj and Umrah exhibition held in December, offering pilgrims the opportunity to register for campaigns and familiarize themselves with the available services. The comprehensive approach underscores the ministry’s dedication to ensuring a well-prepared and smooth pilgrimage experience for Kuwaiti citizens.
