The Tourism Projects Company officially opened the doors to South Sabahiya Park, marking the emergence of a comprehensive entertainment landmark that aims to offer an enriching experience for visitors while showcasing Kuwait’s cultural identity.

The park boasts 136 investment activities, including grocery outlets, restaurants, and cafes. Notably, the project was developed by the Tourism Projects Company, with the contribution of national talents. Entrance for individuals with disabilities is complimentary, and the park operates from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day, accommodating up to 10,000 visitors daily.

CEO Fadel Al-Dosari, addressing the media during the opening, highlighted the park’s extensive offerings, encompassing over 60 recreational activities across a sprawling area of 107,000 square meters. Al-Dosari emphasized the integration of entertainment and recreational services, providing a diverse range of options for park-goers.

Explaining the entry process, Al-Dosari revealed that a dedicated website or application has been established for reservations to streamline the entry process.

It is noteworthy that the Tourism Projects Company, wholly owned by the state, focuses on the operation, development, and management of tourism, leisure, and recreational assets and facilities. The company collaborates with government entities, the private sector, and international companies to enhance Kuwait’s tourism and entertainment industry.

Hamad Al-Musaibih, Director of the Corporate Relations Department at Zain Kuwait, announced Zain’s sponsorship of the South Sabahiya Park opening and the “Winter Wonderland” since the previous year. Zain has also been involved in airplane displays on Green Island and the “Key-Land” project in partnership with Tourism Projects. The Zain pavilion at the park will host various activities, including a PlayStation tournament for children, with prizes for all attendees.
