The Kuwait Pavilion at Expo Doha 2023 for gardening is currently witnessing high levels of activity and a significant turnout from visitors. The number of visitors ranges from 800 to 1500 daily, increasing to 2000 to 3000 visitors during the weekends. This is due to the distinctive design, identity, and unique atmosphere of the pavilion, as well as the daily presence of representatives who warmly welcome visitors and provide them with the information they need about the pavilion.

The Kuwait Pavilion, located in the international area of Expo Doha 2023 for gardening, sheds light on the country’s efforts in combating desertification, water management, and sustainable development. The Pavilion consists of a cylindrical museum that highlights Kuwait’s natural life and provides rich information about the Kuwaiti environment. The design revolves around agricultural areas and innovative methods based on four main pillars: sustainability, environmental awareness, modern agriculture, and innovation and development.

The pavilion’s design features agricultural areas and activity spaces that allow visitors of all ages to plant plants to contribute to raising environmental awareness and promote the concept of sustainability, heading towards a “green desert.” It also highlights the rehabilitated area inspired by Al-Ahmadi Oasis and water towers, as well as areas for recycling, including water used in the fountain within the pavilion, which is used for irrigation.

The pavilion is divided into two areas and a main corridor with several specialized areas. The first building is inspired by ancient Kuwaiti knowledge and includes areas for children’s activities, staff offices, and meetings. The second building is inspired by modern Kuwaiti knowledge and includes a lecture and conference hall, as well as a hall for VIP visitors. The main corridor is inspired by Al-Ahmadi Oasis and includes shaded seating areas equipped with mist sprayers to cool the atmosphere.

The General Director of the Environmental Agency and the General Commissioner of the Kuwait Pavilion at Expo Doha 2023, Ms. Sameera Al-Kandari, expressed her happiness in signing the contract for the implementation and operation of the Kuwait Pavilion at the exhibition, currently hosted in Doha. She emphasized that this participation is unique due to the fraternal relations between Kuwait and Qatar, both in leadership and among the people.
