Drivers of non-Kuwaiti vehicles will have to pay traffic fines before leaving Kuwait, states the latest law that has been implemented in Kuwait since 6th June 2023.
The Interior Ministry in Kuwait announced an immediate launch of the policy on 6th June.
According to the new rule, no vehicle for which a traffic violation was registered would be allowed to leave Kuwait, until fine are paid.
Collection points have been set up at border crossings. The policy comes in accordance to the directives of the country’s first deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Interior.
