Dar Al Shifa Hospital (DASH) was established in 1963 as the first private hospital in the State of Kuwait. Originally, it was a maternity hospital located in Sharq, Kuwait city. Since its establishment, Dar Al Shifa Hospital has consistently expanded and improved from its humble beginning to provide highest quality healthcare services for the community it serves.

In 1992, DASH went through a notable expansion under the ownership of Mr. Ali Jeraq who had a visionary goal to make healthcare services accessible to every individual in the community. As a result, DASH developed into a fully-fledged general hospital that included a wide scope of services.

When the current facility was commissioned in 2003, it completely transformed the delivery of private health care sector in Kuwait; the results of which we still feel today. To continue to maintain its leadership position in local market, DASH is committed to an ambitious new vision for the future by expanding its facility and adopting full automation and state of art technology, which will propel the medical care in the region to new levels of excellence and transform the delivery of health care for the community’s next generation.
