The Foreign Affairs Minister in Kuwait, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah has assured Pakistan that there would be an increased participation of Pakistan skilled workforce in multiple trades in Kuwait.
The assurance was given by Dr. Sabah to the Special Assistant of the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and HR Development, Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari during a recent meeting.
The SAPM in the latest tweet welcomed the views of the Kuwaiti Minister on improving ties between the two nations.
Meanwhile, Foreign Office Spokesman, Zahid Chaudhri, when responding to a query on Kuwait visa curbs for Pakistanis expressed hope that the issue would be resolved soon.
Dr. Al-Sabah had appreciated the positive contribution of over 100,000 expat Pakistanis towards development of Kuwait, Chaudhri noted.
The Pakistan President Dr.Arif Alvi said that both Kuwait and Pakistan had immense potential for cooperation in the fields of health, education and science and offered to provide the country’s skilled labour and professionals.
He also said that Pakistan could provide training to military personnel in Kuwait.
President Alvi said that Pakistan accorded highest importance to its cordial and fraternal ties with Kuwait and wishes to further expand these ties for mutual benefits of both the countries.
The Kuwaiti minister also emphasized on improving bilateral relations.
