The E-learning Committee at Ministry of Education in Kuwait has announced the e-learning schedule for all public school students.

Kuwait school schedule

Students in the fourth and fifth grade will have live online classes in the afternoon from 3pm to 5pm.

Middle school students (sixth grade to eighth grade) will have their classes online from 8am to 10.30am.

High school students will be taking up real time online classes from 10.40am to 1.30pm.

All schools will resume from 4th October, following the seven-month closure which began on 12th March. Although schools were shut, majority of the private schools commenced their e-learning classes during the pandemic and ended the school year as scheduled.

However, for public schools, Al Harbi announced that the 2019-20 school year ended after the schools were suspended on 12th March. The government further extended the suspension until 4th August, but, the announcement that the academic school year has ended was done beforehand.

The students were graded based on the first semester and all students who have passed in more than 4 subjects were graduated to next year. For 12th graders the Ministry announced a plan so that they could continue the school year and graduate.
