Kuwait Little Theatre
Despite its humble beginnings, it is Kuwait City’s oldest theatre and still produces great amateur productions. Later, the playhouse moved to a bigger venue, which was ransacked by Iraqi invaders in 1990. The curtains were raised in 1994, hosting everything from Grease to Talking Heads.

Kuwait Public Theatre
Looking for some authentic Kuwaiti culture? Then, this small theatre is for you, as it focuses on local drama and the traditional folkloric show. Most of Kuwait’s theatrical heritage draws inspiration from the Egyptian dramatists of 1960s, and the shows are often political.

Al Sha'ab Theatre
Located within the Al-Sha’ab Leisure Park, this theatre is a real crowd puller known for its films rather than its productions. The park is open until midnight, and so, there is plenty of time to catch up with latest flicks that are often Hollywood blockbusters or the latest children’s animation.
