The 9-day Eid al-Fitr holiday had placed the livestock and halal breeders in a difficult situation, after they flocked in large numbers to the Citizen Service Center at the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) today, to receive the subsidized fodder bill.

This allows them to receive it from the Kuwaiti Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, according to the procedures followed in this regard, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Citizens or their representatives were at the gates of the company since early morning hours to ensure that they received their quotas early, and went to the Mills Company later. However, the numbers exceeded 400, most of whom are elderly and retired personnel.

The sources noted that one of the negative aspects of any official holiday witnessed by the country is the accumulation of transactions for the coming days, especially with regard to livestock breeders.

They stressed the importance of opening additional offices in areas where the PAAAFR are located, such as Wafra, Abdali, Kabd, Sulaibiya and others, during the next phase, with the aim of facilitating breeders in obtaining their shares of subsidized fodder without hindrances, and to eliminate crowding in Rabieh from time to time.
