Kuwait launches a $100m relief campaign to aid the Palestinians in war-torn Gaza.

Kuwait has launched an urgent relief campaign with a target of collecting $100 million to aid the Palestinians in war-torn Gaza, local media reported, local media reported.
Since the beginning of the Israeli attack on Gaza, there have been calls to collect donations to help the Palestinians and rebuild Gaza.
The one-month campaign also aims to help reconstruct Gaza with some people donating to build seven new towers in the first hour of launching the fundraising on Friday.
Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs, Hana Al Hajri, “The campaign is in line with Kuwait’s commitment to supporting the Palestinians and was launched upon under the directives of the Kuwaiti Cabinet.”
“Charities always organise donation campaigns throughout the year to support Palestine as permanent projects,” she added.
