Kuwait’s Ministry of Education announced on Sunday that there would be no paper or online exams for the first semester of the current academic year (2020-2021),
The Ministry’s Acting Undersecretary Faisal Al Maqseed, said in a statement after a meeting that grouped him with the ministry officials. He said that teaching would be continued online at all levels in all schools.
He has indicated that there are several proposals regarding the method of assessing students’ levels. However, he said that there would be no paper or online exams for the first semester of the current academic year.
In July last year, the Cabinet ended the 2019-2020 academic year and announced all students were deemed to have passed. The current academic year began in October.
