Kuwait’s Minister of Trade and Industry Faisal Al Medlej issued a decision imposing new fees on services provided by the Public Authority for Manpower, Al Qabas daily reported.
As per the new decision, there will be a fee of 10 dinars for each of the issuance or renewal of work permits for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and bidoons.
The decision specified that fees ranging from 1 dinar to 10 dinars will be imposed on 7 transactions and issuing a status statement certificate for the worker and a certificate of employment will cost 1dinnar each.
Issuance of a signature approval certificate for the employer’s file will cost 5 dinars.
