Kuwait Ministry of Public Works has entered into an agreement with the SYSRTA alliance to conduct a comprehensive study on the financial, economic, and technical feasibility of a railway connection between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
This collaborative effort aims to establish a sustainable and efficient railway link, enhancing connectivity for safe transportation between the two countries.
The project aligns with the goals of economic integration and strengthening social ties. With an estimated distance of 650 kilometers between Kuwait and Riyadh, the study endeavors to reduce travel time to approximately two hours through efficient railway connectivity.
