Saudi Arabia approves MoU on tourism cooperation with Kuwait.

The Saudi Cabinet approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the tourist sector between the Saudi Ministry of Tourism and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and Culture.
The Cabinet meeting, presided over at Arka Palace on Tuesday by Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman – the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, also approved the launching of a Saudi-Algerian higher coordination council, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and the Saudi Ministry of Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding for boosting tourism cooperation on November, 2022.
The MoU, inked by the Kuwaiti Minster of Information, Culture Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi and the Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmad Al-Khatib, stipulated that the two sides would bolster cooperation in the tourism sector, namely regarding relevant legislations concerning hotels, leisure facilities, statistics, exhibitions and other sections.
The two sides accepted to cooperate regarding permits for tourism installations, developing tourist sites and at various other levels.
It also indicated that they would exchange information, expertise, publications, films and organize joint research projects.
