Almost 550,194 Kuwaitis has obtained consumer and installment loans, according to Central Bank of Kuwait's latest statistics.

The Central Bank of Kuwait revealed, in its latest statistics, that 550,194 Kuwaitis obtaining consumer and instalment loans, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The loan portfolio provided to citizens was 14.7 billion dinars, with 13 billion housing loans and 1.7 billion consumer loans and that 2.3 percent defaulted in payment.
The daily added that the degree of regularity in repaying loans on the part of citizens amounted to about 97.5% of the total value of loan
