Several countries around the world started vaccinating people against COVID-19, however, health measures for arrivals in Kuwait are unlikely to change any time soon.
Receiving the vaccine abroad will not exempt arrivals in the country from going into quarantine or showing a negative virus-detecting test result, Kuwaiti newspaper Al Qabas reported quoting government sources.
“Unifying the electronic vaccination passport in the world requires at least one year. Kuwait has finalised all its measures related to the vaccination passport and is waiting for other countries,” a source said.
Moreover, the sources noted that whoever receives a document showing getting the vaccine in Kuwait will be exempted from the requirement to go into quarantine and the PCR on leaving and returning to the country.
