Kuwait Ministry of Health has announced that 20 mobile units will soon be launched to vaccinate people who are unable to leave their homes due to severe health conditions.

The Director of Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Health, Dr Ghada Ibrahim said in a press statement that 20 mobile units will soon be launched to vaccinate people who are unable to leave their homes due to severe health conditions, according to Al Jarida reports.
Ibhrahim has announced that the mobile vaccination units will be targeted at those who are bedridden, people with special needs and anybody that has a severe illness that prevents them from travelling to the vaccination headquarters at Al Mishref fairground.
She also said that next week a second hall at the fairground will open to serve as an additional vaccination centre. Currently, hall 5 is operating as the main headquarters for the vaccination campaign.
The Ministry will be keeping track of the number of people that will need access to mobile units so that they can allocate an appropriate number for each governorate.
