62 Indian nurses returned to Kuwait after being stranded abroad since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They will need to quarantine for 7 days instead of 14 after last week’s announcement by the Ministry of Health which stipulated reducing quarantine time for medical professionals, as they need more help to combat the virus.
Last month, 116 Indian nurses returned to Kuwait as they were part of a group of 400 nurses that were granted permission to enter Kuwait by the Ministry of Health. According to a source that spoke to Al Jarida, the 116 nurses were part of the first batch and more were to follow.
There are around 500 doctors, technicians and nurses stuck abroad, who will soon return in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Civil Aviation.
