Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has launched its first drive-through covid-19 testing centre at the Kuwait Airport to enhance the country's COVID-19 testing capacity.

Kuwait has opened a drive-through coronavirus testing centre at Jazeera Airways’ park and fly facility at Kuwait International Airport.
Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah said the centre, which can receive 15 cars at any one time, will be used to carry out 180 tests a day for people from the six governorates. it will help increase the number of tests to discover unreported cases.
The ministry is to work with the Public Authority for the Civil Information to randomly nominate 180 people, representing the different state areas, both males and females, and different age categories, for the tests.
The Ministry will cooperate with the Public Authority for the Civil Information to send the selected individual a text message with full details to conduct the testing, Al-Sabah noted.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has ordered pharmacies to sell masks at a price approved by the state, which should not exceed 150 fils a piece.
