The Acting Undersecretary of Kuwait’s Ministry of Education, Faisal Al Maqsid, announced the possibility of students returning to school by the beginning of the second semester.
His announcement came during a meeting that was attended by the Assistant Undersecretary for General Education, Osama Al Sultan, and the school directors, where they discussed a variety of topics related to education, Al Jarida reported.
Al Sultan was tasked with forming a mini committee, under the supervision of Al Maqsid, where they will lay out a comprehensive plan and create a proposal that will be discussed at a meeting early next week.
Al Maqsid stressed the importance of developing a gradual plan for students to return to schools, which can only take place after the approval of the health authorities.
