Indians in Kuwait are advised to apply for new passports “well in advance” to avoid delay.
The Indian embassy said in an online statement : “All are advised to apply for fresh passports two months prior to expiry of validity of their residency in Kuwait or intended date of travel.”
“However, certain category of passports requires mandatory police verification necessitating additional processing time including correspondence with local authorities in India,” it added.
The mission said it endeavours to issue new passports at the earliest without any delay.
