Most activities in Kuwait will gradually open based on vaccination process if it is at current speed. Kuwait international airport is expected to open gradually by the end of June, a local newspaper reported.
Expats who wish to return to Kuwait having valid residence, the main criteria will be that they need to be vaccinated with vaccines which are approved in Kuwait, report Al Qabas.
While the airport will resume operations, all passengers arriving to Kuwait must be vaccinated with one of the four vaccines approved by Kuwait’s Ministry of Health - Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Oxford-AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
Those who are vaccinated abroad with unapproved vaccines in Kuwait, sources stated that a single dose of approved vaccine will be given, similar to what the American Center for Diseases did, vaccinating those vaccinated with an unapproved vaccine with a dose of an approved vaccine.
