Work on second phase of The Lobby project underway

Al Tijaria Real Estate Company has announced the commencement of second phase of its new project, The Lobby, in support of small businesses.

This is the first-of-its-kind project in Kuwait, and located in Al Tijaria Tower’s Mall in Mirgab – Sour St.

The Deputy Manager in Al Tijaria Property Management Department, Mohamed Farouq Al Abdul Raheem, emphasized the importance of ‘The Lobby’ project and Al Tijaria’s role in corporate social responsibility and its commitment to encourage youth with small businesses by offering them the necessary help and support by extending them the location and space needed for their commercial activities in unit area between 15 to 28 sqm.

The renting is with monthly renting fee and without any additional cost. Al Tijaria will also help the young entrepreneurs in the interior designing of their shops and also in helping them obtain commercial licenses, if required.

Mohammed Farouq Al Abdul Raheem said that all shops in Phase one have been rented out and will be open by July 2014. At present, the booking for phase two is on, which will close on September 2014. Requests are also being received for phase three of the project.

Al Tijaria has also won ‘The Best Corporate Governance – Kuwait’ in 2014 and 2013 from World Finance in UK.
