Al-Sharq office complex receives CNBC Arabian Property Award
The Al Sharq office in Kuwait, designed by Atkins, has been awarded the prestigious CNBC Arabian Property Award for its high-rise architecture, and unique design and dedication towards sustainability.
Speaking on the occasion, the head of concept architecture at Atkins, Nicholas Bailey said, Al Sharq is the way ahead in terms of defining new architecture for Kuwait. We are delighted to be recognised this way, for the prestigious and exciting project.
This is the second time that Atkins Middle East’s design is receiving award. Prior to this, it was the recipient of MIPIM Architectural Review Future Property Projects Award during March. The tower, 180 m in height, will spread across an area of 56,400 square meters and resembles pair of parallel blades with office space hanging from them. The tower will be a combination of restaurants, office spaces, spa, swimming pool and an executive gym.
The CNBC property Award will be presented during October this year, in Dubai.
