Kuwait plans 70,000 new housing units by 2015
The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Development and Housing Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah revealed that Kuwait plans to offer about 70,000 housing units towards the year 2015.
Speaking during the Arab Housing Day, the minister said that Kuwait’s Public Authority for Housing Care (PAHC) will include relevant projects in new housing cities.
The PAHC has chalked out ambitious plans for housing projects through a well-planed strategic vision, he said.
The PAHC aims to offer housing to citizens as per specifications and criteria. The new plans are intended to adopt unprecedented housing methods and mechanisms towards implementation of housing projects. The authority aims for more co-operations from legislative and executive authorities and other state agencies involved for notching up quantum shift in the housing development of the country, he added.
