Residential prices in Kuwait bound to rise by year-end
Prices of houses in Kuwait are likely to level off, and may even increase towards the year-end, revealed a new report about the real estate market in the country.
The report by Mutakhasis Real Estate Company says that the economy in Kuwait will improve towards the end of the year.
The economy of Kuwait will improve during the last quarter of the year, with few vital economic sectors, particularly real estate, seeking opportunities to recoup the past losses, states the report.
The real estate market in Kuwait has seen considerable drop in sales by about 70 to 80 percent. When the housing prices begin to rise, the banks will continue lending.
Several observers in the property sector are of the opinion that the prices of properties will not decline further and that there is the possibility that if they do not level-off they might even go up during the next few months.
