Kuwait real estate sector signals major leap by year-end
The real estate sector in Kuwait has recently signaled the possibility of a major boost in the sector towards the end of the year.
The Board Chairman of Al-Mutakhasses Real Estate Company, Faraj Al-Khudhari, speaking during a press release, mentioned that although there was an indication regarding drop in property prices at the beginning of the year, the value of property transactions amounted to KD 151million in March, increasing hopes about the sector witnessing a record leap during the coming months.
The number of deals posted in April touched 434, from 358 in March and 294 in January. He linked the upward trend of this vital sector to the hike in loans by the banks and the desire among investors to grab the opportunities during the period about the low prices before the projected upsurge of the plot prices.
