Al-Hamra project will give Kuwait a unique identity
Al Hamra Real Estate Company in Kuwait, which is currently constructing Al-Hamra complex, has announced the official inauguration of its Customer Relations Center (CRC). It is expected to provide various leasing and sales support services, apart from media information center for future tenants.
The Vice Chairman of Al Hamra Real Estate Company, Khalid Al-Othman, speaking during a press conference, marking the inauguration of CRC, said that construction of Al Hamra is a part of the efforts exerted to achieve the achieve the vision of H.H. Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in transforming Kuwait into a regional, financial, economic and commercial center.
“With the construction of this rare masterpiece, we intend that Kuwait regains its glory as the leading nation in the region. The project is expected to be a landmark and will create a unique identity for Kuwait, different from neighboring countries in the region,” Al-Othman said.
The project has achieved its goals even before its conclusion by winning the first prize in the MIPIM real estate contest for 2008, held last month. MIPIM is the largest exhibition specialized in the real estate development sector, and Al Hamra has won the prize as the best design for a skyscraper.
The Al HAmra project has also received an award for the best real estate project from the British Architectural Review.
According to Al-Othman, “Building for Kuwait” is the apt slogan for the Al Hamra Company, which aims to invest Kuwait’s capital in the local market, rather than seeking international investment opportunities.
Emphasizing on the fact that 50 to 60 percent of Kuwaiti investments made by individuals or companies are in neighboring countries, he said “I have no personal benefit to gain from the project, but my aim is to market Kuwait internationally and we will exert our best efforts to place Kuwait in the forefront than other nations and for people to remember Al Hamra as the most beautiful skyscraper in the world, constantly associating Al Hamra Tower with Kuwait.”
The Marketing Manager, Al Jal Real Estate Services Company, Hamed Al Suhail, said “Al Hamra project is the first step towards Kuwait’s future becoming a modern and advanced country, and emphasized that the project is being constructed on the basis of international standards.”
