Kuwaiti Citizens co-operates with government to remove illegal structures
Numerous citizens in Kuwait, willingly demolished 97 percent of the 200 illegal structures in various areas in Kuwait, reports KUNA.
The Director of Kuwait Municipality Public Relations, Mohammed Al-Mossawi, speaking to KUNA, said that these citizens surely reflect the positive co-operation between the government and people, and added that about 194 illegal structures were demolished in all six governorates.
The nine demolishing teams undertook the responsibility to clear all illegal structures and buildings, including diwaniyas, servants’ room, chalets, gardens, swimming pools, and passages and walls.
Al-Mossawi also pointed out that warnings have been put up on illegal structures throughout the country asking the citizens to abide by the decision and pull down structures willingly.
