Kuwait to allot 44,000 land plots to citizens
About 44,000 land plots in Kuwait will be allotted before launching infrastructure works in new areas over the coming two years, revealed the Director, General Ali Al-Fouzan, of the Public Authority for Housing Care (PAHC).
Speaking to the media during the inauguration of a Real Estate Investment Exhibition last night, Al-Fouzan said that PAHC will launch infrastructure work in these areas during the coming years. But, the plan to allocate the land plots before commencement of this work is to reduce the list of citizens awaiting state housing.
He emphasized that the citizens will receive plots and the location will be made known to them, before commencement of infrastructure works. This will enable to plan in advance, and get an early start.
PAHC has already launched infrastructure projects in Sabah Al-Ahmad City and at present projects are being scheduled in All-Khairan city in the summer. These projects will help in easing the housing crisis prevailing in the State, Al-Fousan said.
