Kuwait Expo to display latest building technologies
The Kuwait Smart Buildings Expo, to be held between 17th and 19th March 2008 at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, will include the cutting-edge building technology solutions by BT Applied Technology (BTAT).
The BTAT specializes in turn-key solutions offering single and smart view of the organizations multiple separate systems. The company has been responsible for smart buildings across the region, including the Ministry of Interior Central Security Buildings in Saudi Arabia, Sharm El Sheikh International Airport in Egypt, and high profile projects such as the King Abdulaziz Endowment Project in Makkah.
The Business Development Director of BTAT, Issam Abounasr, said “BTAT is shaping way ahead for the smart building industry. It has the first dedicated research and development facility in the region that works in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).”
BTAT develops innovative solutions that bridge gaps between services and their hardware and software infrastructures and integrates them to provide a single cohesive view to the organization, said Abounasr.
He also revealed that the company has already begun work on the IT infrastructure for the campus of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
