Kuwaiti expert suggests option for banks in improving realty sector
A leading real estate expert in Kuwait has suggested that all banks can establish special departments for financing ventures in the realty sector.
The Board Chairman of Al-Mutakhasses Real Estate Company, Faraj Al-Khodari, speaking to the press, mentioned that special departments should be set up by Banks for real estate financing, based on banking retail themes, in a manner in which new investment portfolios with reasonable security, such as providing good income for the investor and the insurance, could be set up.
Banks, in particular, have a great role to play in the realty sector, by motivating people to preserve the funds allocated by banks, for ventures in this sector. Such funds could also be used for related businesses, like, carrying on trade in construction materials and housing utensils.
Healthy activities in the real estate sector, will also activate other sectors, and benefit national economy, suggests the expert.
