Qualitynet plans to introduce more smart buildings to Kuwait

A Smart buildings conference was hosted in Kuwait yesterday, by Qualitynet, a pioneer in Internet solutions and data communications at the Al-Raya Ballroom. The event saw the participation of most international strategic partners of the company, which specialize in creating Smart Buildings.

With the technology constantly being upgraded, it is necessary for modern day businesses too to be equipped with state-of-the art technologies. The day-to-day businesses are in constant demand for faxes, emails, phones and other technologies, which could be provided by Smart buildings that include these amenities. Qualitynet aims to bring in this modern technology to Kuwait.

Smart buildings are different from traditional structures, in the sense, that these buildings are equipped with all requirements and amenities, which cut down the need for businesses to set up their own resources for meeting these purposes.

“Smart buildings” and the home automation systems are seen as a growing trend in the Middle East. The “smart buildings” technology is comparatively new to Kuwait market. The Managing Director of Qualitynet, Rashid Abdullah, said that several solutions for ‘smart buildings’ have been unveiled during last year.

The General Manager-Sales of Qualitynet, Waleed Al-Qallaf, said that buyers and tenants today seek more than just a suitable space for their business and lifestyle requirements. Hence “smart buildings” are the preferred choice for companies and individuals, as these buildings, apart from meeting their usual routines such as entertainment systems, air conditioning, light, voice and photo systems, also save expenses and improve operation performance through complete solutions.
