Kuwait to begin works on low-budget housing project
The Minister of State for Housing Affairs, who is also the Minister of State for National Assembly, Abdulwahid Al-Awadhi, announced that the low-cost housing project will be surely implemented, as it has been already approved by the National Assembly.
He was of the opinion that the current differences between relevant authorities were due to the allocation of land, which was earlier approved for the project in the Kabd area. He said that the minister was optimistic about the issue being sorted out soon, and the project would finally happen, after conducting a meeting with Al-Humaidhi, the Minister of Oil.
Al-Awadhi assured that the work on the project would commence any time now, and several other projects too will be presented to the cabinet, to achieve it within the stipulated timeframe.
