Avenue Mall to participate in MAPIC real estate exhibition in France
The Mabanee Company in Kuwait has confirmed that its new real-estate venture, The Avenues Mall will be showcased at the MAPIC exhibition, likely to take place in France between the 14th and 16th of November in the city of Cannes.
The General Manager of Mabanee, Khalid bin Salama, said that the normation of Avenues for a prestigious award, for the motivating factor behind his companys participation in the event.
Launched during last February, the Avenues Mall, is the largest mall in Kuwait, worth USD2billion, and is also one of the biggest retail centers in the region with more than 200 stores.
The second phase of the mall will be complete by March 2008, which would include a business center, a convention center, four-star hotels, and a theatre.
An additional two phases are being planned, which is likely to be finalized during 2010.
MAPIC will see the participation of more than 2000 individuals from about 67 countries.
Mabanee, a Kuwait Shareholder Company, was established during 1964 with 30million Kuwaiti Dinars (KD) as paid-up capital. The company also made its way to the Kuwait Stock Exchange listing in1999.
