Kuwait to follow No Ban Entry for all nationalities
There will be no ban on entry of any nationality to Kuwait, provided, certain security and social restriction norms are being met with, announced the Assistant Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Passports and Naturalization Affairs, Gen Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah.
The announcement came in a press statement issued by the Ministry, following his meeting with the Director General, Public Directorate of Passport and Naturalization, and Directors of various other departments.
Sheikh Ahmad, expressing his relief over the sincere work extended towards safety of the country, mentioned that he was proud about the interest shown by the First Deputy Premier to the department staff, and said it was an encouragement to the employees to put in more efforts to enhance the works at the department.
Sheikh Ahmed revealed that the Directors of the Naturalization Department have been given the authority to accept or deny any immigration transaction. He also urged visitors to abide by the Kuwaiti immigration laws and avoid violation of such rules.
He however added that orders have been passed to permit some categories much needed by the country to re-activate the Kuwaiti economy, while excluding those without significant missions.
