Kuwait facing shortage of trained professionals in property sector
The real estate sales in Kuwait reached an unimaginable high, although the sector operations were not based on objective analysis, reported Mutakhasis, the Professional Real Estate Company.
However, talking on a press realease, the Chairman of Mutakhasis, Faraj Al-Khudari, mentioned that the real estate sector in Kuwait was facing shortage of qualified employees with good academic training in the field.
Most of them, who currently work in the property sector, have commerce degrees or engineering background, and he said, there were many specialized branches of real estate such as marketing and investment, project management and development that require trained qualified professionals.
Al-Khudari has bought to the attention of the government that there is a need to establish a real estate educational institution which specializes in real estate and provides an opportunity for the employees to undergo training.
Such a move, would help in introducing new concepts and ideas into the filed, through innovation, strategic management, establishing investment funds and utilizing the technology in the sector.
