Expat doctors in Kuwait likely to receive pay-hike
The Ministry of Health is planning to increase the salaries of non-Kuwaiti doctors working in the government sector, reported Al-Nahar.
According to sources, the increment is expected to be over and above the recent increment granted by the Cabinet to all expatriates employed in the public sector.
The sources have pointed out that 60 percent of doctors are non-Kuwaitis, and this step is aimed toward retaining senior and experienced doctors.
Recently the government had announced an increase of KD120 for all Kuwaitis working in both private and public sectors and KD50 for expatriates in public sector.
