CSC approves demand for pay-hikes in KAC, medical and oil sectors
The Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Faisal Al-Hajji, revealed that the Civil Service Commission has agreed for the demand for pay-hike by the KAC, oil sector and medical staff. This will be approved during the coming meeting of the Kuwaiti Cabinet, he said.
Following the commission meeting, Al-Hajji, who is also the Acting Chairman of the Commission, announced that the commission agreed for the pay-hike of staff in KAC (Kuwait Airways Corporation), and medical and oil sectors, after careful consideration for the past eight months.
The Commission has also approved the promotion of several employees to leading posts at state agencies, revealed the minister.
The KAC Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, Barrak Abdul Mohsen Al-Subeih, expressed his gratitude to the CSC, and other concerned authorities on behalf of KAC workers, for approval of their demands, and added that this would boost the morale of the staff.
