Health Ministry announces vacancies for 300 nurses in Kuwait
The Ministry of Health (MoH) plans to sign contracts with 300 male and female nurses from Kuwait, came an announcement on Sunday.
The Under-secretary for Medical Services of Assistant Health Ministy, Dr. Yousef Al-Nisf, revealed that has begun conducting oral examinations, for 300 nurses who cleared the written tests that were conducted earlier.
Al-Nisf pointed out that those who failed the oral tests could re-take the examination after a month, as the Ministry plans to continue the domestic hiring of hospital nurses during the coming period.
The Cabinet had earlier allocated 1200 job vacancies, after a series of resignations. Al-Nisf said that the Ministry has benefited from such allocations, as this has prompted the Ministry to enter into contracts with 1000 males and female nurses from Egypt, India and Philippines.
