Make sure you are moving to the right position
In the current situation there are a lot of jobs that need to be filled at every level across Kuwait. However, candidates must make sure they are moving to the right position and company for the right reasons.
There is no greater blunder than to decide you need a change on the urge of the moment, jump ship, move to a new company without knowing much about them. Read up on the companies in your industry. Know about them and find out as much as you can. A lot of this information is accessible and in many cases can now be found internet.
If you are an individual with widespread experience in your sector and a proven track record, in certain cases some companies may offer beyond the norm to have you on board. In most private companies there is an element of flexibility. You may find it quite discouraging and awkward to bring up the subject of salary and terms and conditions. Recruitment consultancies are an excellent intermediary in this case. They act as consultants and can negotiate terms and conditions specific to the role, the individual or the company from an expert point of view. E
xperienced consultants know when a person is right for the role or the company is
right for the person and they help bring about a smooth changeover, enabling the
individual to perform a role for which they are 100% sure of their standing in the
company, their value to the team and the package they will receive. The clear benefits
to the company are the guarantee that they are bringing a committed individual on
board who is content with their package and will be a long-term asset to the team.
