Swimming Pool Complex
Located on the Arabian Gulf Road, and spanning an area of 9472 sq. mts., the Olympic swimming pool complex was unveiled in April 1988.
Established by the Touristic Enterprises Company in 1988, the complex offers five good swimming pools of various sizes. One is an Olympic pool, with a capacity to hold tournaments and championships, measuring 25mts x 12mts, with 80 cms to 2.25mts depth. This is reserved exclusively for men.
Next is an indoor diving square shaped pool, with a depth of 4meters, comprising of four 5mts high ladder, two 1mts. High ladder, all meant for men and diving purposes.
The swimming pool for beginners is located in family section, with depth ranging from 30cms to 1.5mts.
Two other pools are equipped fully with water and acrobatic games to ensure spending unforgettable moments of fun and joy.
Irrespective of the weather, the temperature of water in the swimming pool is well-maintained.
With all these amenities, the Swimming Pool Complex holds Young Swimmer Championship annually. There are specialized trainers to supervise the swimming pool located within the complex. The Swimming courses are conducted for children from over six years of age.
The Complex contains a snack bar too, for serving quick, light meals.
