The Scientific Center
Located in Salmiya of Kuwait, The Scientific Center is the center for environmental education in the gulf region. Being inherited by late Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Scientific Center in Kuwait (KSC), spans across more than 80,000 square meters of area.
Located 20kms away from Kuwait City, it is the first and largest amusement park in the Al Doha area of northern Kuwait, near the 7th Ring Road, offering a complete range of entertainment for families and children.
Ice Skating Rink
Established in March 1980, the Ice Skating Rink in Kuwait is a major landmark and makes a great sporting amenity. The Rink, being the first of its kind in the region, spreads over an area of 8398 square meters along the Green Fence Area of Kuwait City.
Unveiled in 1995, Aqua Park is the first water park in the Gulf and among the biggest in the region. Located on the Arab Gulf Street, adjacent to Kuwait Towers, the huge aquatic city, Aqua Park spreads over an area of 60,000 square meters.
Drawing more than 80,000 visitors annually, it is the first in Kuwait leisure sector to obtain an ISO-9002 certification. Unveiled in September 1996, the park is easily accessible from all parts of Kuwait, and is among the best family entertainment destination in Kuwait.
It houses more than 65 animal species, including majestic lions, regal elephants, and illusive tigers, apart from Zebras, and giraffes. The sanctuary is also home to more than 128 bird species and five reptile varieties.
