Kuwait Airport records 6% growth in passenger traffic

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has announced that passenger traffic at Kuwait International Airport has grown 6 percent, with increase in passenger movements, which touched 9,376,618 in comparison to 2012 figures.

The directorate said that the statistics reveal that the arrival of passengers touched 4,717,532 in 2013, in comparison to 4,483,141 in 2012, marking a five percent growth, while the number of passengers departing touched 4,659,086 in 2013, in comparison to 4,394,742 in 2012, marking the six percent growth. The number of commercial flights to and from Kuwait Airport in 2013 touched 78,135 marking three percent growth, in comparison to 75,588 flights in 2012.
