Kuwait travel ban list exceeds 90,000 over the weekend

The Interior Ministry in Kuwait has imposed a travel ban on 90,000 people living in Kuwait, over the last weekend.

The ban orders included 48,000 Kuwaitis and 42,000 people of other nationalities. The orders were based on court rulings, mostly due to unpaid dues.

The sources explained that anyone who owed any amount, even less than KD50, to companies for state services or other services, will be issued travel ban.

However, borrowers who do not have court orders against them, can pay the money owed at the outlet they wish to travel, to have the ban immediately lifted.
