The fast expanding energy and infrastructure project sectors in Kuwait, was the centre of focus, during the 7th Annual Kuwait Energy and Infrastructure Projects Conference 2012 held at the Marriott Courtyard recently.

The conference involved participation of more than 30 high profile speakers and over 200 local and international industry professionals. Apart from highlighting opportunities in the $55bn projects in the oil, gas, power and water sectors in Kuwait, delegates were also updated on latest trends, strategies, challenges and technologies available in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

The conference included in-depth case studies, panel discussions, presentations, one-to-one networking opportunities, and interactive workshops to find solutions to most critical issues faced by the industry.

The opening day focused on opportunities and developments in exploiting the hydrocarbons sector, while the second day was exclusively dedicated to mega infrastructure projects with high profile panel of speakers discussing challenges faced in the market.
