Kuwait International Property Show unveiled in Mishref

The Kuwait International Property Show, one of the most notable annual fairs, has been unveiled in Mishref yesterday, under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, involving participation of Abdul-Aziz Al-Khaldi, the Ministrys Undersecretary.

The event has been organized by the Top Expo Group, together with the Kuwait International Fair Company, and involves participation of 40 local and foreign companies, displaying about 100 projects from about 15 different countries.

Speaking during the inauguration of the fair, Al-Kandari said that the Ministry directly supervises the real estate fairs, to ensure that the rights of visitors’ are protected.

As for regulating real estate prices, the official said that this is mainly based on supply and demand, but said that the Ministry plans to recruit a team of representatives from various state departments for streamlining the real estate market in Kuwait.

The Top Expo Chairman of the Board, Sheikh Malik Badr Al-Salman Al-Sabah said that this is one of the much awaited events of the year for Kuwaitis, given, the lack of such fairs in Kuwait, and due to growing demand for real estate projects, both local and international.

This year's event offers a range of fresh real estate opportunities in safe and stable markets, in-line with the desires of investors in Kuwait and other Gulf states, Al-Sabah said.
